With these machines, Comel is able to produce wall rings even in medium and small size batches, without needing to make special dies. Starting from a simple hole and deforming the metal gradually through the application of a circular rolling action, it becomes possible to turn out faultlessly circular wall rings.
Where products require a deformation process that cannot be accomplished by punching, bending and flanging, 3 mechanical presses of maximum rated power 160 tons are used. For deformation cycles requiring even more power, Comel outsources the work to qualified and certified suppliers.
