COMEL began life in 1970 as a small engineering workshop that took on turning and milling jobs using manually operated machine tools.
Over time, the entrepreneurial ambitions of the founder Luigino Giacometti evolved along with technological developments in the sheet metal processing sector, and the company's activity duly expanded. And with a steady cultivation of customer loyalty in the years since, the business has continued to grow, always showing a positive trend.
The success of the project has been and continues to be made possible thanks to the commitment of the people who make up the Comel team, the constant and vigilant presence of the Giacometti family, the continuous renewal of manufacturing systems, and a financial position that has been much strengthened over the years.
